In the summertime, you are often at the mercy of AC technicians, and it can be hard to know who to trust. I actually lost a former friend—who was also an AC technician—after recommending him to another friend. He gave them an outrageously high quote, claiming they needed a brand-new compressor. I decided to send Ben from Fresh Breeze to get a second opinion, and it turned out all they needed was a new fan. My former friend was trying to rip them off, and I cut ties with him because of it.
