Despite having zero obligation to entertain a last-minute, mildly panicked tourist, Dr. Payne welcomed me with the kind of professionalism and warmth usually reserved for royalty or people who floss regularly. Within minutes, I was in the chair, being treated with clinical excellence and the sort of bedside manner that makes you question why your regular dentist doesn’t offer warm towels and post-op pep talks.

The procedure? Flawless. Painless. Dare I say... elegant? My tooth was treated like a VIP guest, and I left feeling like I’d just experienced the Four Seasons of emergency dental care.
