Billy' Place is amazing ... and heartbreakingly necessary. The staff are genuine and empathetic, the enviroment welcoming. If you have need of their services Billy's is the place to go to help you learn ro deal with grief. Thank you..
When I first started researching Billy's place after my son passed away from fentanyl poisoning. I thought it was just for kids going through loss. A few weeks later my husband called and found out it is so much more. They have adult groups and just started a group for people with tragic losses. We are so grateful for that group night. Some meetings are in person and some are virtual my husband and I attend both. I can't say enough about Billy's place my grief from the loss of my son has been a little easier to handle as I don't feel so alone. I would highly recommend.
This is an incredible outreach community of love, compassion, Non-judgement, support, and coping with grief. What makes Billy’s Place unique Is parents and children grieve together.. then separate into parent group and kids group with their peers The counselors leading each group are well versed, compassionate and knowledgeable about the grieving process. Each meeting has a planned curriculum and activity guiding you through the grief journey. My husband and I were able to share thoughts and struggles with other parents and those parents helped to shed a new perspective which was very helpful.
