The professionals and doctors at Northern Arizona Healthcare are excellent and superb. Patients feel the staff are amazing and took time discussing everything in detail, not just rushing to the next patient. Appointment is on time, the place is clean and the providers are proficient. but the system to arrange any appointment is broken; messages are dropped, phone calls are not returned and the practice felt dysfunctional. the mess, but the providers are excellent.
When we moved back to Flag in 2018, it seemed like NAH was struggling with poor management and an insular attitude whereby it would not play well with other practices in town, and had a number of critical specialists leave. The good news is that over the past three years or so, things have really changed, and I've shifted most of my healthcare to NAH. Most recently I had Dr. Wani for my annual cardiac review, and was pleased with his patient, thorough review and walk-through on my labs. Support staff has been excellent, and the patient portal provides excellent access to records online and efficient messaging to staff and doctors. Very professional and staff was excellent. I especially was impressed with the cardiologist PA that I saw. She was very knowledgeable and spent the time needed to answer my questions and explain the next steps towards recovery. I’m very impressed.
