She received my paperwork 5 months ago. I called IRS because she told me they had been done. IRS said never sent nothing in the system. Now she has somebody threatening her life because she reported corruption. Idk what she has going but states she can't go into office or use a computer to get me my paperwork she charged me 379.00 to amend my daughters return & file mine took me less than 20 minutes online she will not refund my money. There was several crazy texts from her saying I'm a bully. I needed to get a job. And all I do is bash people & businesses on Facebook which I never have done. I am taking her to court because she continued to harass me in messages after telling her to quit.

This is our second year filing our taxes with FTS. Mary our tax preparer is well knowledgeable with the current federal and state tax laws. The tax preparation fees are reasonable. Would recommend FTS
Mary Bonaventura has been doing my taxes since 2004. She has always been accountable, extremely sharp and pleasant to work with. However this year in 2024 I was taken aback by a strange change in her behavior. On Friday February 16th we exchanged some emails in regard to how I can pay her since I am out of state. She informed me that she does not accept any payment via cash transfer apps and she requested a money order. I was looking forward to sending the money order the following Monday when the post office was open, however I never had the chance. The very next evening, Saturday the 17th I received an alarming email at 9:05 with the subject line "Delete Me". The email went on to say that I am creepy for contacting her on her personal phone. A phone number she assured me earlier in the week was perfectly fine to contact her at. She went on to say that I obviously do not want to pay her and to stop wasting her time. I was completely confused and hurt. When I reached out to her to apologize and try to resolve the misunderstanding I was met with a barrage of emails and texts that were unhinged and wildly inappropriate given the circumstances. I almost feel badly to post this review as I'm legitimately concerned as to the mental and spiritual well being of Ms. Bonaventura. I hope that this review along with the other complaints submitted to the BBB will be the impetus for her to seek professional help.

lady name Mary supposedly the owner of the firm is a very, very rude person. Be careful do not work with these people. She threaten my life. I have text to prove it. I just will never go back and I wouldn’t refer anyone to this place Please be careful

Called to get some advice and was met with a very rude woman who said “it’s gonna be hard finding someone to help you file your own taxes” and then hung up on me. Ummm what’s the point of your business then if not to help people file their taxes. Called a different tax service in town and they were more than willing to help me. Happy to in fact! So I have no idea what this lady’s problem was but do better! Bad days don’t have to mean you treat people badly and if you can’t handle bad days you shouldn’t be in business!

My wife and I had our taxes done by **** from Freedom Tax service and we couldn't be happier. ***** expertise with all the new taxes made me comfortable in having her do our taxes. She was fast and efficient. We will definitely go back next year.Thank you **** for all your help this years taxes.
