They dont love pets here. $500 to walk on to see about getting my dog a anti inflammatory prescription. Talk about heath care greed. Need a Luigi for vets

My visit to the Colorado River Animal Medical Clinic was very good. My cat Visa was very happy with herself and the treatment she received. I know the staff treats the Animals in their facility very well and the Doctor is very good explaining the medical issues that they will be performing. The staff who helped my mom and I with my mom's small old dog, was amazing, so were the vets. My mom's dog Sweety, was adopted from the pound a year ago, unfortunately she had gotten bit by another dog, and had to be taken to the vet. The staff and everyone there, were so calm and easy going throughout all of it. They were understanding, they didn't stress the dog out at all, they assessed and addressed the problem and my mom's dog just finished the follow up appointment, and all is great, my mom's dog is healing up well, everything is looking good with my mom's dog, and the vet and staff were amazing, calm and understanding. Absolutely recommended this place.

The vet there doesn't know what he's doing and they over charge for services and meds! My dog had heart condition what does vet do he puts him on same meds but strong , I brought him in due to saving his life what I didnt know which vet would have saw he had side effects from meds he was taking earlier ! 1-31 where they put him on meds n took xrays! 2-11-25 when i asked why this happened he didn't check other vet from Kingman that he was suffering from meds and they had me email xrays from other vet , which vet said he looked at xrays , which I never saw n believe he went off xrays from other vet and had the balls to tell me my dog would be ok .. he's not going to die but 5 days later my dog suffers slow deaf from not able to breathe . I trusted that vet n they have the nerve to charge me 440.00 n half is from xrays I never saw n disputed with bank about charging me for xrays I never saw n believe he did do they would send me records of xrays n ive been asking since 2-11-25 till now to send xrays they charged me for for if he did xray he would of saw his Lil damaged heart couldnt handle meds given by Dr McGee. They won't refund me for xrays never produced in front of my face and all they could say is , 'We'll give you 30.00 back and sorry your dog died!!! No, remorse or sympathy about what I went through and my dog went through. Your dog may die from seeing McGee i would like to say the words to them but they blocked me or ignoring the situation. He doesn't deserve to be a vet and I hope someone else has had problems like this so that we can stop them from servicing dogs. A vet who tells you ill see you in 2 wks and my dog is going to be ok n dies 5 days later ! Doesn't know what he's doing! Just making a killer amount of money off of us.. if only dogs could talk! Dont go to Dr. McGee n ive heard other stories from other clients not being happy with them . That's from phx services that come here to help us see good service and cheaper prices from the pound in Bullhead City

I have always taken my dog here but had to changes vets I have been waiting a week for medication and went in to check if it was ready and they told me that they dont know when they will have the medication I had to cut the last one in half just so he can have this medication somewhat, friendly staff but,also didn't offer to write a prescription so I can go somewhere and get the medication luckily the other vet was able to see us today and got his medication.
