My wife had a very disappointing experience with this dental office. Appointments are scheduled automatically every six months, and even after calling to cancel, the appointment remained in the system and a $50 no-show fee was charged. She called multiple times and was told the appointment had been canceled, but it was not. She also had a filling done on the wrong side, which caused pain afterward, and the billing did not match the treatment performed. With respect and honesty, Dr. Hurst should spend more time explaining treatments and discussing dental issues directly with patients instead of leaving most communication to the staff. Patients expect the dentist to clearly explain procedures, risks, and treatment plans. After cleanings or dental work, the visits felt rushed and impersonal. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and we will be switching providers.

Took my 4 and 5 year old grandsons here today for their first dental appointment and I could not be more pleased. Leslie, the hygienist, did an awesome job as well as the dentist.They have my grandsons thinking a trip to the dentist is fun and cool. I was impressed!

I went through the Invisalign process with Hurst Family Dental Care a few years ago! I've been wearing permanent retainers at night, and unfortunately my pups got ahold of them and chewed them up! I called HFDC and they quickly got me an appointment for new scans and a new retainer! When I arrived to my appointment today, I realized that some of my contact information was out of date. I'm very thankful for the patience that the HFDC team showed me in getting that updated! They made sure that I had the correct forms and answered the questions I had. The team member that did my scans also did a wonderful job today. Thank you, Hurst Family Dental Care!

It’s taken me months to finally write this. This has been one of the hardest years of my life, and this office is partly responsible. I was having excruciating tooth pain and came in for an appointment. I was told I probably needed a root canal and was then scheduled with a specialist in Ft Smith (the other responsible office that has made my life miserable.) While waiting, the pain continued. The summary of it all. I had a root canal, then went back to Hurst for my crown. It took them FOUR different appointments to fit the crown correctly (so about a month of me going back and forth). At one of the fitting appointments, I told them I was having weird sensitivity in my root canal treated tooth. Dr Hurst said “Hmm that’s odd” but did NOTHING to figure out why. Turns out it was infected. I got my crown put on JUST to have to go back to the specialist and have it drilled into to clear the infection. Weeks later, I was STILL in horrible pain. The office then told me to just have the tooth extracted. So. I completely drained my insurance with all of these appointments and procedures and had to pay out of pocket, all for nothing because the tooth had to be extracted anyway. Im angry and stressed because I may need more dental work and now have no insurance to help. I do not recommend this office at all.

Quit taking my insurance after waiting almost 6 months for my cleaning appointment..... no explanation as to why other than "We won't be accepting your insurance any longer". Been there 2-3 years. It seemed a bit inconsiderate.

Hurst Family Dental Care is the place to go for all your dental needs. I'm so glad I started coming to a few years ago and it's worth the drive from Hackett!!! Always courteous, professional, and do their best to save you money by not performing unnecessary procedures. Not all dentists operate this way but I appreciate that Dr. Hurst and his team do. I’m a super fan of my hygienist,she got stains off my teeth, that another clinic, didn’t remove, after several cleanings. I didn’t even realize this until I got in the car. 🤩 I was completely surprised, being this was a standard cleaning. ✨Thank you, everyone! 10 star service, for everything including, great music & easy scheduling.✨

Personally I have had horrible experiences with dentists but today I was blown out of the water! The hygienist was wonderful and very understanding of my situation and listened to every word, the dentist came and heard me out gave me a plan and immediately sent me in something for pain (infection in one tooth and a wisdom tooth pain). Both were super supportive and willing to help. Honestly can’t recommend anyone better for dental needs!
