You can book appointments on their website, they give you a timeframe and the day of, they texted me the photos of the technicians and a bit about them. Dustin and Malachi arrived on time and were so very nice and helpful. They assessed our flickering lights and outside outlet installation, then gave us an estimate on the spot. As the work progressed they apprised us of any changes, so the bill would not be a surprise. They were quick and efficient replacing a breaker and installing an exterior outlet box and cover. “Two techs arrived after explaining the problem the techs got busy checking it out. After checking stuff he explained the 3 different diagnostic levels said since we are in mobile home they are always major the highest amt of $1134. So that was alot more than what I was willing to pay today since I still have ac working. Sam was real with me in explaining the costs because just diagnosing does not mean that it is repaired just means they know the problems. He did take time to explain the $99 per year deal but was not to sure of that practice either. Sam told me it could be in the $10,000's to fix he was not sure but wanted me to know. Being that we are on ssr I could.not think abt paying out that much money. So gladly paid the $83 & let them get the hell outta here. Sounded like a bunch of malarky.“

“Called HK Electric to diagnose and correct a "locked rotor shutdown" on a Kohler RESA 20 home generator, which basically shuts down the generator and makes the system useless. After reading up on the problem, looked like it could be a # of issues and could be difficult to troubleshoot and repair unless the tech was properly trained and proficient. Technician Brent Mason wasted no time in properly diagnosing my problem, quickly discerning that the problem was either a faulty sensor sending unit or worse case, the control board was defective. Unfortunately, the control panel was the culprit. Good news was that Brent had a new unit on his well equipped service vehicle as well as the adapter wiring kit to work with my 8 year old Kohler unit. It was not a cheap fix, but the only fix. At least Brent's knowledge and expertise made it less painful as he explained every step, reprogrammed the controller and had me up and running again in less than 45 minutes. Can't say enough about the quick response and professionalism of the team of IK electric. From the receptionist who took my call to my service tech couldn't ask for better service. I had never used their services before this, but will definitely call them again if I have electrical issues with my home or generator.Service: Power restoration“
