Called HK Electric to diagnose and correct a "locked rotor shutdown" on a Kohler RESA 20 home generator, which basically shuts down the generator and makes the system useless. After reading up on the problem, looked like it could be a # of issues and could be difficult to troubleshoot and repair unless the tech was properly trained and proficient. Technician Brent Mason wasted no time in properly diagnosing my problem, quickly discerning that the problem was either a faulty sensor sending unit or worse case, the control board was defective.
