We enjoyed our stay at the Historic Arlington Hotel and Spa! We definitely plan to go back! The Staff in Valet, Front Desk, Dining and Security were all welcoming and friendly. The Hotel is under construction, and that's a wonderful thing to see! Yes, it isn't in perfect shape, but that's what gives the Hotel it's character and charm! If you want charm, historic and character, stay at the Arlington Hotel! Thank Ya'll for a great stay!
The location was great, there were places you could shop and eat withing walking distance. There are some nice walking trails with hot springs. The Hotel was under construction. The seafood night wasn't what I was expecting, there were a lot of fried foods. Not sure I would stay there again.
After years of staying at the Arlington when in Hot Springs, we have decided the charm is gone. Yes, they are spending a great deal on renovating the building however things we enjoyed when staying at the hotel are no longer. The band is loud and obnoxious, parking is no longer free next to the hotel, walk a half mile to the free public parking lot, the hot tub was closed. My wife and I enjoyed our stays for years, the little combo in the lobby, an evening in the hot tub and the history of the old building. Our stay in April was very disappointing.
