“We've been boarding our dogs at Ernie Boudreaux's since 2013 and can't recommend them more highly. Our dogs (we have boarded two different ones through the years) jump out of the car when we drive up and don't even give us a second look back before running towards the office in excitement. They love staying here and are exhausted when they get home - because they play so much. They cater to your dog and evaluate their needs, based on a one day free stay, before you board. That way they know if your dog likes quiet play, more rambunctious play, being around larger or smaller dogs etc. They are outside most of the day, with a lot of area to play, and are taken for long walks every day. There is so much acreage and if your dogs like to be outside and have a lot of playtime, they will love it here. Although our dog was excited when he saw our car pull up last week, he started whining when he saw Julie walk off towards her office. And we'd been gone for a full week. We won't take our dogs anywhere else because they love it so much here.“

Our small group trail ride was such a treat — personal, peaceful, and perfectly paced. Susan’s deep knowledge and lifelong care for horses truly shone through, making us feel completely safe and comfortable from start to finish. The ride followed beautifully maintained woodland trails bordering the city park’s 1,000-acre lake, with serene creeks and even a few gentle waterfalls along the way.

The horses, Sophie and Lance, had excellent manners and were calm, gentle, and responsive — ideal companions for the journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to enjoy nature and the company of such well-loved horses. Highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking a genuine, relaxing, and scenic trail ride!“
