Angie was a great leader. We took an hour trail ride into the woods and by the lake. It wasn't too crazy or hard.
My daughter rode a veteran horse named Lance. Before this ride she'd only ever ridden ponies in a circle at the fair. But Lance was gentle and sweet. She never had any problems with him.
I have ridden since I was a kid. I got a horse named Sophie. She was a good horse but more strong willed. Besides her not wanting to back up and stand next to her fellow horse friend, Maverick, for a picture, she was great.

Our small group trail ride was such a treat — personal, peaceful, and perfectly paced. Susan’s deep knowledge and lifelong care for horses truly shone through, making us feel completely safe and comfortable from start to finish. The ride followed beautifully maintained woodland trails bordering the city park’s 1,000-acre lake, with serene creeks and even a few gentle waterfalls along the way.

My friend and I went on a trail ride at Flying Q today and had such a fantastic time! The horses were well cared for, the trail was beautiful, and the staff made everything easy and fun. You can tell they truly love what they do. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable ride!
