Dalton came out this morning and took good care of us! We have a long weekend of watching football planned, and it would have been rough with no AC. Thanks Dalton!

First off, I’ll start with the positives. The office staff is professional, friendly, and timely. I would give them 5 stars. The service manager(s), I’ve talked to two, are pretty reasonable and friendly as well albeit not extremely helpful in resolving issues. Let me explain. Had a new heat unit installed by Thomas in April 2023. Shortly after, within a couple months, my condensate drain line clogged. Took 3 different trips out to get leak resolved, eventually just using my old drain line. No charge to me due to it being within first year of warranty. I’ll fast forward to August 2024, as there were no major issues (that I recall) between that time period. August 2024 my unit is not cooling properly and they diagnose it as a leaking flare nut on the air handler. I’m charged for this repair(more to come on this). In March 2025, my thermostat quits working, less than two years after install. I’m quoted a couple hundred dollars to replace a very basic thermostat, the same one that quit working less than two years after install. I asked about upgrading to ecobee and was charged about 3 times more….nearly $1000. I went ahead with the upgrade(shame on me) as I didn’t know the price or complexity of installation at time of purchase. After install, unit was not cooling and I told tech before they left. Technician was unprofessional and said it was working. The Dt was 1 degree. Later that day have to call to have another tech come out. That tech did get it resolved in about 15 minutes by “changing some settings”. After this i contacted the service manager about the issues I had had recently and how the flare nut sounds like an installation issues and I wasn’t happy on the pricing on the thermostat. He agreed about the flare nut and refunded me the full cost of that work and a couple hundred dollars on the thermostat. At this point, I don’t really trust the techs but their service managers had been reasonable. June/july 2025 my unit quits working again. I call out another company and they identify that the circuit board is bad and replace it. Following that the Dt is still bad and they perform a leak check and find evaporator coil is leaking. Part is 3 months out. I contact Thomas to get a second opinion and tell them what the first company found. Thomas says the issue is the flare nut(supposedly repaired a few months prior) is the issue and specifically stated that they leak checked the indoor coil and found no leaks. Funny enough, they were going to charge almost 4 times as much as the previous repair less than a year prior. I get a third opinion due to differing opinions and they tell me it is an evaporator coil leak, as well. At this point, I get the part ordered,3 month lead time. Contact thomas about 3 weeks after they came out, mainly because they have a part and labor warranty on previous work if its within a year and it was. Thought getting refrigerant added couldn’t hurt as I knew my unit had an active leak. Dt before they arrived was 17 degrees in my home and had been that for 3+ weeks. Within 4 days of them leaving was 3 degrees. Call them back out. Same technician comes out and this time identifies the evaporator coil is leaking. Not surprised but is ironic that the same technician comes who said there wasn’t now says there is. Now after they left, my fan runs even when my unit is off. I have not contacted them about this because every time they leave it seems like my unit is in even worse condition. All in all, I would highly recommend not using them as their technicians appear to be able to diagnose and repair and their install and products used don’t appear to be great either.

Pleasure working with the crew! We’ve been contractors since 1942 and our continued success is due to the people we work with. Thomas is one of those companies.

Terrible quality and service. Put in an AC unit but it didn’t work and delayed returning. Shoddy work and poor quality at very high prices.

I was turned down by numerous contractors to install ductwork for new range hood to replace an unducted over the range microwave. Thomas Services provided a free estimate the day after I called and installed the ductwork within a week of scheduling. (I had to remove a cabinet, and move an electrical outlet prior to duct installation.). Stan and Donald worked great as a team and the job was completed in a half a day. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work. Stan and Donald went above and beyond helping get the ductwork mated to the range hood. I will do business with Thomas Services again and highly recommend them.

Easy appointment set up for next day, on time, very nice technician. Service call that wound up needing NO immediate work and only 10 minutes diagnostic time on REME-Halo unit still costs far too much. That's the reason for only three star rating. They used to be much more reasonable.

Dustin Pugh serviced our unit today and was OUTSTANDING! We’ve had many services calls over the years, with various companies, but Dustin is THE BEST technician we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Great place. We wanted to put in a new sink going from double to single, Robbie helped me make that decision. He was very patient with me, helped me with all my questions and made my decision easy. The service technician that did the work was awesome. I wasn’t there but my husband was and said he was very thorough and detailed to the task. Over all experience with Thomas was awesome. I highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Thomas HVAC has replaced our home A/C system and performed the maintenance and responded to calls for the past four years. Everything's been great so far, and they are quick to schedule any appointments and have always answered our questions quickly and effectively. Recently, Dalton E. performed our scheduled A/C System/Unit maintenance and and went above & beyond to make sure everything was running well, educate us on the best care possible for our A/C, and answered all of our questions. I'd definitely and have already recommended Thomas HVAC to others in need of residential HVAC services.

This was my first time working with Thomas HVAC. I had a wonderful experience with Dalton today! He came out to do a seasonal tune-up on my unit. Dalton was the sweetest gentleman and very knowledgeable and skilled at his job. He found the reason for why my air conditioner smelled so badly when it kicked on throughout the day and patiently worked with me to find the best way to resolve the problem and keep it from coming back. I will definitely be using them in the future and would highly recommend them, especially Dalton, for any of your HVAC needs!
