Such a great professional and wise person. Thanks Mr. Hill for the great life advice and taking the time to quickly serve me(under 30 minutes) after others quoted me 1-2 weeks.“

I’ve been looking for a sewing machine for a while, but as a beginner, everything online felt overwhelming and confusing. I honestly didn’t know where to start. I just happened to be in the plaza, saw the sign, and decided to call first to see if they even sold machines. When they said yes, I turned right around and came in and I’m so glad I did.
Walking in, I saw some high-end machines and thought, “Okay wait… maybe this isn’t my store.” But the moment I spoke with Charlotte, everything changed. I told her I was just starting out and wanted something affordable, and she really took her time to understand what I needed. She didn’t rush me or try to upsell me she educated me.
She showed me a few options, and I ended up choosing the Brother Pacesetter 300T for $349, which was perfect for me. It had the features I was looking for and felt like the right step up without being overwhelming.
Charlotte made the whole experience feel so comfortable and fun she was kind, patient, and had me laughing the whole time. I left feeling confident in my purchase.
Greg also came over and helped, and his energy was just as great. He even helped bring the machine out to my car, which I appreciated so much.
The store itself is beautiful and inspiring it really makes you want to start sewing immediately. You can tell they care about their customers, and they have great pricing and warranties as well.
The only small issue was that my power cord wasn’t in the bag, so I wasn’t able to use the machine right away. I’ll be stopping back in to grab it but even with that, my overall experience was still amazing.
I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my sewing needs. This place made me feel excited to start my journey, and that means everything.“

The quality of her work is really high, just don’t be in a hurry. I had her replace the lining of a 40 year old sleeping bag which that also required some repairs. It turned out great! I also had her turn a few t-shirts into throw pillows. The prices all seemed fair for the quality of work. The business is located in downtown Homewood and is easy to access.“

Mary knows how to work with vintage clothes often doing a lot of the sewing by hand. She understands when I have a show coming up and need things faster than normal. I would recommend ABC for any alterations needed. They have beautifully sewn on buttons, relined a fur stole (not easy), mended a million pulled hems, reworked dresses and just about anything else you can think of. So...just one person's opinion but I could not live without them!“
