I made the mistake of returning back to this place a second and third time out of convienience, but I am DONE now. Their prices are insanely too high in general, but on top of that, the work done doesn't even warrant the price. They've now botched multiple pairs of denim where I asked for the original hem... they do something weird on the inside, so that when you roll them they don't look original. They charged me $45 to shorten a satin skirt by 2 inches. Please head my warning and save yourself the trouble and money by not going here.

I took a top and pants to be altered and I will give credit that they took it on a Wednesday and returned on a Friday which was a huge help and I am absolutely willing to pay more for the super quick turn around. That said, I was charged $150 PLUS a $5+ credit card fee. Didn't see other reviews before now so that is on me. Lesson learned.

I own a vintage clothes business and exclusively use Mary and crew at ABC to mend every piece that needs it. I have been using ABC for over 5 years. Mary knows how to work with vintage clothes often doing a lot of the sewing by hand. She understands when I have a show coming up and need things faster than normal. I would recommend ABC for any alterations needed. They have beautifully sewn on buttons, relined a fur stole (not easy), mended a million pulled hems, reworked dresses and just about anything else you can think of. So...just one person's opinion but I could not live without them!
