Urgent Care for Children

I highly recommend the Urgent Care in Jones Valley. My son was accidentally hit by a bat in the arm at baseball practice today so we took a visit to Urgent Care for Children. I honestly was debating on whether to go to the Pediatric ER or Urgent Care because I wasn’t sure of the care we would get at Urgent Care. I have definitely been to some Urgent Cares that truly did not have a clue what they were doing. BUT tonight at the UC for Children in Jones Valley I was extremely pleased with the outstanding care my son received. We waited less than 5 minutes to go back to a room. This is by far one of the best medical experiences I've ever had. From the phone call for the appointment to the receptionist, CNP and doctor. They were all wonderful. My daughter had nasal and throat swabs, plus a finger prick blood test but she was still happy with her visit. That's saying alot for a sick 6 year old!

We’ve always had good experiences with the medical team here. We’ve taken our daughter 3 times now. Every time it has been a different nurse and doctor but everyone has been great! So far, my concerns have always been taken seriously and doctors were thorough with explanations and treatment plans. There’s always a bit of a wait time but should be expected at a children’s UC. Usually about 45-60 mins. Nothing too bad.
