Johnnie Amadi, NP, at the Oak Street Health, Rocket City Center, Huntsville, Alabama location is a wonderful PCP. He is professional, knowledgeable, listens well, answers all questions, and is an all-around great primary care provider. The staff and nurses at this location are great, also.
It's great for seniors, the main problem is they have more patients than they can handle. Had me drive from decatur to Huntsville to do lab work to send to specialist. It's an hour drive for me both ways. The specialist, did the lab work and I had the results from specialist two days before getting results from oak Street. It was a waste of my time ,energy and money to go do the testing with them for specialist. Everything you call it says they have so many calls can they call you back.you leave messages and it's days before you hear back. They are great just can't get to everyone in a timely manor.. sad. The staff at Oak Street is great 👍! They provide services for the elderly, disabled, and retired individuals. The doctors are very good and exceptional at what they do. They make sure you are well taken care of, no matter the situation.
