My son was a patient of HPA since for 14yrs. Dr. Patz was always great but we recently left the practice. I called in concerned about his blood pressure being high (per his school nurse & chiropractor). Beth, the nurse told me to take him to the pharmacy and use their machine. THE PHARMACY!! Never once was she concerned or offered to have him seen by Dr. Patz or any other doctor there. I told her that I was concerned and we were going to find someone else to see him, I promise you she did not care!! We switched physicians and he was diagnosed with sleep apnea which untreated causes high BP. I am so glad we left HPA. Don’t let them treat your child like another # I swear there are way better doctors/ nurses out there that truly care and take the time to get to know their patients.

My 3 boys having been going to HSV PED for 17 years. They have been cared for by Dr. Klemm, his nurses & staff since they were born. I have only great things to say about Dr. Klemm & his staff. We feel very fortunate to have such a hands on, knowledgeable & caring physician all these years. Dr. Klemm is excellent. We couldn't ask for a better Pedestrian to care for our boys all these years. It will be very difficult to part ways when the age out.

We absolutely LOVE HPA! Dr Cochran is amazing. She is not pushy and is straight forward with her recommendations. The nurses are also fabulous and always answer my questions over the phone or in the portal. So why the 3 stars? That’s for the front desk. I work in a Dr office where I help out at the front occasionally. I get the job is repetitive… “What’s the name? Dr? Insurance the same? Your copay is…?” Being repetitive can be boring, but that’s literally the conversation. No welcoming or nothing from one particular girl. The past 3 times I have taken my son in, I have been seen at “station 1” I get the same young girl. She calls you over and doesn’t even look at you. In fact, just stares at her computer typing. The look on her face is the most uninviting look I have ever seen. No “Hi how are you today?” With an attitude she says “Drs name?” then starts on her other questions. I sat down with my sick son this past week and got a text that our room was ready. She was the one I needed to ask to open the door because the other girls were busy checking people in. She was sitting there on her phone texting when I walked up. I almost felt nervous to ask her to open the door because I felt it would be a problem disturbing her. Again, very uninviting. So I politely said “Ma’am can you please….” And without looking up from her phone and interrupting me mid sentence she said “it’s opened” I get everyone has bad days. But this is every time I go in this office. I have also witnessed her have this same attitude to everyone she checks in. As the front desk, you set the tone for the people in the back. You are the first face people see and the first interaction people have when they step into the office or talk on the phone. If she’s going to continue doing this job, then she needs to have a little more professionalism. I’m one that works in the back at my office, but my boss makes us all take classes on these types of things. So I definitely notice interactions like this more. If I was new and had to deal with her first, I would probably find somewhere else. Thankfully I had someone else when I made my first phone call and first visit 4 years ago. Such a wonderful office and amazing Drs, but the front desk needs some work.

If I could give -stars I would! I have never endured being unheard from a medical provider. Dr. Klemm is unethical, unprofessional and has proven to me that patient care is not his top priority. They group everyone together and thats not individual patient care. I have spoken to other families and they use a bullying tactic to make you conform to what they want you to do. The lack of diversity in their practice is a clear indication of where they stand. Evil, is contagious and even the staff has developed a infectious approach. I would never recommend this place and will travel 100 miles for health care before I ever let them treat any family member of mine!

I highly recommend! Huntsville pediatrics does a great job of taking care of my children. They are even open on Sundays! They are caring and compassionate. They also offer great service.

If you disagree with the doctor, and politely start a conversation to discuss your child’s health, they will kick your child out of their practice. This place sucks and so does Dr Roth

I applied for my son for 3 doctors and all were full. Then the receptionist said I could apply for other doctors so I went ahead and applied for the whole practice. They called today and said they were all full. It was a complete waste of my time and my son’s time when I have just moved here and I am trying to find OT and speech therapy. I need referrals to help my child. Just say your practice is full from the start! It is very inconsiderate and inconvenient for a parent who is just trying to give her child the best. Very disappointed!

Dr.Gunter and her staff are phenomenal I've been taking our daughter to her since she was born in 2018. They always go out of their way to help make sure your child is taken care of. Never have had a bad experience. Love them.

I have been bringing my son here since he was born. I love Dr. King!! She’s so sweet. She listens when I’m concerned and doesn’t brush off symptoms. I never feel like she’s rushing or that our time with her isn’t important. Her nurses are also very sweet and know what they are doing! I’m only giving them a 4 star because the front desk ladies could be nicer. I never feel like it’s a friendly encounter when I check in. It’s also short clipped sentences. I never get smiles or “Hey how are you I can get you checking in.” For example it’s normally like, “I can check you in at desk X” with a very clipped or deadpan tone. On a couple of occasions my husband and I have had to wait due to them being on their cell phones and not noticing we are standing at the line to check-in. Just think the customer service could be friendly/nicer. Make it seem like they want to be there and not like they are just ready to go home.
