Five Points Laundromat is a clean and quiet laundromat. Customers appreciate the availability of washers and dryers, including large machines suitable for oversized items like rugs and comforters. Payment options include coins and cards. The laundromat also has a snack machine and a vending machine for cleaning supplies, although the vending machine may be out of order.
The washers and dryers work well. They have 2, 4, 6, and 8 load washers, iIrc. The washers seem expensive to me, but they are probably in line with other laundromats. They have coin or card operated machines and have dollar changers if you prefer to use quarters. There are plenty of tables for folding your clothes and clothes carts to transfer clothes from washers to dryers to tables for folding. There is a bathroom, but no paper towels, only a hand dryer. An attendant is only on duty for a few hours during the middle of the day.
The only reason for the mid score is bc the laundromat itself seems to have gone down in the last few years. Although the equipment works...read full review
Large capacity washers? CHECK!! Dryers that actually dry? CHECK!!
For a laundry, it was very clean, and tables not just to fold but also some to set and wait for your laundry.
This is my favorite place to do laundry now. I absolutely love the fact that it's always clean when I go in there and I also like that you can use your card on the machines if you don't have any coins on you
