I have spent hours of my life waiting in her waiting room. I rarely need a dermatologist so I’ve continued to go but it’s become so ridiculous. Waited a hour recently for my 30 second masked interaction from Dr Gardepe. It’s as if she doesn’t want to even be near people or have to touch their skin which is her job. The patient load has decreased greatly and you still have to wait an hour or more. The furniture, office and medical office procedures has not been updated since the 80s. Don’t expect anything that is convenient, involves easy technology that other places use. Dr Gardepe is still wearing a mask 5 years after Covid for some unknown reason. It’s as if you are dirty or infected and she can’t be around you. She seems like a nice person and her staff is nice. However if you want efficiency and respect for your time go somewhere else. I’m no longer willing to wait an hour while sitting on the furniture straight out of the 80s while they make me fill out paper after paper over and over again to keep in my paper only file to be charged extra for any request I have between visits. Lose a prescription they give you on paper because they don’t do technology, then risk being charged a fee. Need a copy of a record, there’s a fee. Need something sent to another doctor, there’s a fee for them to send it on their ancient fax machine. If the fax doesn’t work plan on going all the way to the office to pick up your records you had to pay for because they aren’t getting them to other doctors like all the other doctors can. Need an appointment, pack a lunch or snack you will be there a while. I should have found a different doctor years ago. Save yourself some time, find a different doctor if your time is important to you.

I have genetic melanoma and have dealt with it for 23 years. I moved to Huntsville recently and was looking for a new dermatologist. She was very thorough and genuinely cared about my health. I look forward to seeing her again in November.

Very "matter fo fact" kind of indifferent to to any question I had. Over 1 hour delay to even get to see her. I was told, that is normal. Once I did get to see her, it was "wham-bam-thank you, mam". She was in and out with speed of light.BIG DISAPPOINTMENT since many people recommended her and she was only Dermatologist i could see for over a month. I recommend her because it appears she is "only game in town" - what a deal!

It was time for an annual full body skin check (I'd been putting it off for a long time) and I went with Dr. Gardepe. It was an excellent choice. The wait was a little over 30 minutes. The staff were very pleasant. The doctor herself was very nice, thorough, and listened to my questions. All questions were answered to my satisfaction and she suggested trying something different for a skin issue that was bothering me. All in all a very good visit and I am happy with the outcome. I will be using this doctor again.
