Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center
“First encountered Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center in Hoover in January 2026. Had just been diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma which was going to require surgery and was having some disequilibrium and balance issues already. Wanted to get myself in the best physical and balance condition I could to hopefully improve my chances of a good outcome and lessen the trauma of my postoperative recovery. Had no idea what to expect or do. Jessica and Noah were simply outstanding in getting me started and with the work my balance improved and my sense of disequilibrium improved. As I improved, they always found new exercises or equipment to use to challenge me at harder tasks. I worked at this 2-3X weekly leading up to surgery and am absolutely positive that it was why my postoperative course was so smooth following a 5+ hour surgery to resect the tumor and only required 48 hours in the hospital before being discharged.
I resumed therapy after the surgery to help with adjustment to my new norm and this was invaluable. While I was focused on my vestibular therapy, I did have the opportunity to watch patients coming through for more traditional physical therapy. Jessica and Noah were always kind and supportive of their patient, pushing them when needed but always remaining supportive and caring. While not involved extensively in clinical care, Mary who functions as the clinic manager works tirelessly in organizing appointment times and following up with their patients.
In summary, Fyzical provides elite class vestibular therapy care and general physical therapy. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would encourage anyone needing these services to consider using them.”
