Poss. UTI. CRNP (Ashley?) at HH Urgent Care in Florence, AL, prescribed med - Macrobid- that was dangerous for me with Stage 4 kidney failure, eGFR of 20, despite me questioning her about it. A simple Google search could have alerted her to the danger of prescribing Macrobid to a patient nearing ESRD. I am a disabled RN. I asked her to call something in that’s safe for me, and she said she would, but she did not. I waited at pharm. for over 30 mins. until they closed. This whole visit was a waste of time and money ($30 copay and will probably get another bill from HH for the UA done) with no treatment for a UTI. I will have to go somewhere else tomorrow to be treated. I WILL be contacting HH tomorrow and filing a written complaint. This CRNP needs to return to school before seeing patients. If this is the best HH can do, then I will go elsewhere and warn others to do the same.

The doctor, NP, and nurse were all incredibly friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I felt truly involved in my care and appreciated that my options were clearly explained, including how each choice could impact my recovery timeline. The entire experience was positive, and I would highly recommend this office to others and would absolutely return if needed
