Very thorough and shows me everything and educates me on how things should and should not be. His summary and pictures are included in a booklet with descriptions and a problem rating for things that need repair. Mr. Jennings is highly recommended in my book.

Definitely would not recommend. Jim did not notice a leak that is causing a lot of black mold that I'm sure was evident during the inspection. I should have seen it myself, but a home inspector most certainly should have seen it. He did note some pretty helpful issues but it doesn't make up for the missed leak in my basement.

We have worked with Jim twice in the past month or so, and we have found his services to be outstanding! He was not one of the two inspectors recommended by our real estate agent, and we have come to find that is it because he will tell you EVERYTHING that is wrong with your potential house purchase, and he doesn't mind who gets upset by him doing so. He points out everything from home defects to safety issues to extra expenses like cutting down trees, that you might not otherwise consider, and you get the report the second he completes the inspection (which takes about 3-4 hours for a 1500 sq.ft. home and costs around $350).
