“We had a major headache after Home Depot’s third-party appliance delivery team installed our new refrigerator and broke the water shut-off valve to our house (located behind the fridge). I found this plumbing company because I specifically liked that they were a local, family-owned business and had such great reviews. After working with them, I completely understand why!
The owner, Blake Hobbs, personally came out and walked me through the entire process and estimate. He explained that the repair would likely require cutting a large hole into the drywall and potentially having a contractor come back afterward to repair it. I mentioned the idea of installing an access panel instead (I have ZERO plumbing experience — I just threw the idea out there hoping it might save us the headache of dealing with the Home Depot claims department over another contractor), and Blake immediately loved the idea. He was completely open to the suggestion and helped us come up with a much better solution.
We were also having water pressure issues to the fridge (water was a trickle when filling up a glass, ice took days to make), and Blake fixed this on the spot in the meantime while we waited for the claims check from Home Depot.
Brittany, the office manager, was absolutely wonderful. She communicated with me by both phone and text, worked with our schedule, and even offered us a cancellation appointment as a courtesy. Everyone was incredibly patient while we waited for Home Depot’s reimbursement check, and they were very knowledgeable about dealing with damage claims involving a big-box retailer. That made an already frustrating situation so much easier.
Then Bryan Cash came out to do the actual work, and he was outstanding. He was kind, personable, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. The access panel he installed turned out SO much better than I ever envisioned. It looks professional, intentional, and honestly way better than the alternative of repairing the drywall. From start to finish, I genuinely have zero negative things to say. Hobbs Plumbing took what could have been a huge, stressful headache caused by a third-party appliance delivery company and made it feel like no big deal.
