I have been a customer of Don Carter HVAC for many years. I upgraded my HVAC SYSTEM when I bought the house. It is a split HVAC system using natural gas. When I built my mancave garage I put in a high end all electric split system. I am 150% pleased with the unit’s performance, energy saving and best of all, the most excellent service from all of the technicians. I made a distress call around 9am today after the fan in my 5 year-old A/C unit stopped last night around bedtime (which was the end of a triple digit heat day!). Within 4 hours, I got a call back from their dispatcher, telling me she'd send someone out today. When Justin showed up on a hot, humid July afternoon, less than half a day after my call, I told him he was my angel! Turns out, the fan stopped bc of a small twig that was wedged in the the fan blade. Fortunately, the fan motor and compressor were not damaged, and the very reasonable cost of signing up for two years maintenance also covered today's no-parts-required repair AND maintenance. During the hottest weather of the year my a/c gave up . I called5 companies and Don Carter Heating and Cooling was the first to call me back.. The on call repairman explained the problem and I chose to replace instead of “fix” my system. I was told when work would start and when it would be finished. They did exactly what they said they would and finished exactly on time! I was given a portable window unit to keep my bedroom cool for the days I was without a/c. Thank you for being so dependable and prompt ! You can be sure I will be recommending you every chance I get!
