Our daughter started in July and has already progressed so much! She loves it! ETA: that was 2 yrs ago. Now she's a brown belt and on her way to black belt within 2.5 yrs! She has grown so much and is super confident.
I started my sons here to hopefully help them grow and learn some self discipline almost 3 years ago. In that 3 years they have both grown quite a bit and both earned black belts. The physical activity has been great for them. Both on my sons are fit. I even decided to join the adults class because I needed the physical activity and eventually, at age 50, managed to earn a black belt. The instructors are great at challenging and pushing their students while also being accommodating of injuries or other physical limitations.
We've been here for 2.5 years now (and will continue to do so for more years to come). The instructors are amazing, we are so glad that we sent our girl here. I can't recommend enough Master Spates to everyone who I talked to. He is the absolute power house of this academy!
