About Planet Fitness
Planet Fitness is a gym chain with over 2,400 locations. Members describe it as clean and emphasize the friendly and helpful staff. Planet Fitness offers a variety of equipment for all fitness levels, including cardio machines, free weights, and more. The gym is well-maintained, ensuring a good workout experience. Some members appreciate the convenience of the app and the "Black Card" membership. However, some find the gym lacks certain amenities like saunas or basketball courts. Additionally, the recent change from key tags to phone entry has been met with some frustration due to concerns about bringing phones into the gym and potential forgetfulness.
This is a well maintained gym with decent amounts of options for various workouts. Definitely one of the nicer PF locations I've been to.
Planet Fitness is the only business that I know with tanning beds that does not alert its customers that they have installed new bulbs. Im a regular customer for years and I've brought this up to the staff every time they do this. I need to decrease my time by at least 3 or more minutes when new bulbs have been installed. This is not a safe or standerd practice. Putting a sign on the tan bed door for at least one week after new bulb instalation is just common sense and courtesy for your cuntomers. Other than that, the Wasilla location is a very nice gym. I would have giving 5 stars if I hadn't just walked out with a sunburn on my face.
