It’s clear this practice values, not just the treatment of the patient, but also prevention, education, and continuity of care. The front desk staff is efficient and respectful. The CMAs are amazing! PA Don has been my PCP since he was at Wasilla Medical Clinic. He actively listens to my concerns, asks thoughtful questions, and always involves me in the decision-making process. As someone who understands the challenges and demands of healthcare delivery, I am genuinely impressed by the professionalism, empathy, and efficiency of Northwoods Family Medicine.

I feel they don’t listen. Only saw a PA who only wants to prescribe what she wants and not what your use too! Acts like you don’t know your own body. Never got to see a MD dr. Don’t go here unless you don’t want them to listen!!!

Never have I left a doctor’s office feeling so small. Notes in my chart with things I never said regarding medication I have been on and then received a phone call to discuss my request to have my medication sent to a different pharmacist only to be gaslit even more by the receptionist regarding paperwork I filled out more than once. I will be finding a new primary care provider.

Very obtuse and condescending office manager and Dr Kara didn't adress the issue I came in for, but instead pushed a bunch of revenue generating test on me. Wouldn't think about going back.

Very upset. They will not review my son blood work with me even I’m on his HIPPA papers. He’s losing 10# a month and they keep taking blood and giving pills. I need answers! Mayo Clinic here we come!
