Crystal I believe was super nice and accommodating over the phone so I was excited to get my hair colored the following day. She had scheduled me at 6 on saturday and it was the best she could do to squeeze me in which I understood and appreciated so imagine my surprise when I pull up the next day a few minutes early and everything is closed and dark. No phones were answered and I left a voicemail and never got a call back. I understand that there is only so much you can do for a person last minute but that is something you can communicate by offering a different day rather than a time you couldn't guarantee anyone would actually be there for. I can't speak for the quality of hair care because I wasn't given the service at the reserved time so all I can speak on is that I wasted time, gas, and energy going there when a simple call to say you couldn't honor the appointment would have saved me all of that. Being super nice and accommodating only goes so far when you don't honor your clients especially new ones.

I use to go here back in 2020-2021… my experience wasn’t so great. My first appointment went well. I had Crystal and my hair turned out great. However, I wasn’t aware that would be my only good experience. As I started frequently going I was starting to get bad vibes. I guess she didn’t like doing my hair. There were situations where I would show up for my appointments and she would be a no-show. There was also bad etiquette while she would be doing my hair(eating, talking on the phone loud and obnoxious). It was kind of traumatizing. I don’t trust black hairstylists anymore because of the experiences. I was better off just learning how to do my own hair.

Use to be a great hair salon but now that Angel and the rest of the staff is gone not so great. The owner was rude to me so don't think I will ever be back nor will I recommend anyone to that place. I don't mind paying for services but do expect good customer service for what I'm paying not a nasty attitude. Miss Crystal better hope another salon doesn't come to town or she might find herself out of business.
