I want to praise Nani and her pre/postnatal yoga class. I attended her class starting at 8w pregnant and went all the way until I was full term. Not only is she warm and welcoming but she really focuses her class making sure everyone is comfortable in their stage of pregnancy. She provided some gentle advanced movements as well as additional options for growing bellies and other aches and pains. I had a lot of pelvic floor pain and consistently going really helped me tolerate it and prepare my body for my second birth. My husband & I have been practicing yoga w instructors at HeartStream Yoga for a fair number of years. Every instructor has tailored the students’ practice to their level of ability. Often reiterated is the philosophy of “if you aren’t able to do what I’m saying, modify it to what your body allows you to do.” Every ability is welcomed.
Marsha and the folks at heart stream are so lovely. Go. See. Them. They have been incredibly accommodating as I work through an injury. As a teacher and a student, I have been so grateful for the space to practice and play as well as take the time that I need to heal and learn about how to better care for myself. Big love in this space. Get ready to be your best you right now.
