“I can’t say enough great things about Alaska Veterinary Clinic and everyone that works there. My dog Kevin and I moved to Anchorage in 2021 and he’s been a patient here ever since. Kevin is now 16 years old and though health-wise the past 16 months have been really hard, I totally credit Dr. Lindquist and the staff here for him still being alive and having a great quality of life considering his age and with his diagnoses.

We are in quite frequently for integrative medicine visits, dental procedures, surgeries, and the occasional acute illness exam, and I just love how much the front desk staff, the techs, and the docs adore Kevin. They show him so much love which makes us both really happy and more at ease.

I’ve always been really pleased with the communication and the convenience of being able to text them with questions or updates. They’re able to relay that information to Dr. Lindquist, put it in Kevin’s file, and get back to me with any answers or follow up.

I also appreciate how patient they are with me through all of my questions and during really emotional appointments. They are honest, take their time, listen, and explain things well.

I am always singing their praises and referring people and will continue to do so.

There will likely be no warm fuzzies until you pick up your beloved fur baby and you KNOW that your baby was well cared for. Bev has groomed our pets for over a decade so I felt completely comfortable shipping a yorkipoo up to Alaska from the lower 48. I knew this was a long relationship commitment .... dare I hope 20 years, and I knew Bev's doggie salon would help my new yorkipoo learn how to love her spa days. Trust is so important when you're leaving your pet with someone, and I trust Bev.“

The team is fantastic.
At his most recent visit Dr Averill recommended an enzyme toothpaste and after 2 applications (which my pup handles effortlessly) there is a visible reduction in his tartar buildup! Some of the worst areas are actually chipping away and his breath is SO MUCH BETTER! This guidance was topnotch and will significantly improve my pups health

“I came to Autumn at the recommendation of my vet due to her experience working with fearful dogs. I have a rescue that was scared of being groomed. I tried taking him to other groomers and he would refuse to come out of the kennel and would just cower in a corner.

Autumn is willing to work with him on a level where he is comfortable and no longer scared of getting groomed.

She has also been kind enough to let us come by and say hello just so he can get to know her as a friend.“
