In addition to being significantly more affordable than the local alternative for emergency vet care, the staff at Midnight Sun have taken really great care of my fur baby a few times. Last time they also did a phenomenal job managing my anxiety, which was off the charts after my baby found and ate A LOT of chocolate. I am forever grateful!
We brought our sweet guinea pig to Midnight Sun. We were a walk in, but only had to wait an hour. It was a blessing in disguise. We got to spend that little bit of extra time with him. The vet was quick, to the point, but very compassionate. The staff was great, compassionate, and didn't rush us at all as my son and I took our time saying goodbye. Even though we were taking up a room, and they were busy, there was no rush.
I have been there twice now. I do not live in Anchorage but visit family here often. My Havanese was sick and they diagnosed him with cancer. They attempted surgery but the cancer was too far advanced and we had to euthanize him. Staff was very compassionate and we got his remains cremated. When we got the run they had special gifts and a card signed by staff.
