My ex and I and I owned a music shop, I have a degree in music and he was a professional musician so I feel very qualified to make this assessment- Mammoth is an excellent music shop if you are a guitarist, percussionist or looking for amps, pedals, cables and performance equipment. They also have a wikked selection of old skool vinyl. Also, they're really nice and approachable. Good vibes all around. And did i mention thia place is packed?!?! Holy hell, you're in for a treat if you've never been here. Have fun!

Mammoth Music has been my first choice, go to music store for over 25 years. The folks that work there are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful and the most important part, they are a locally owned business, not a big box store. You won’t get a better deal anyplace else so please consider going to Mammoth Music first.

Just ordered an Orange bass amp from this place. Excellent service and extremely fast shipping! Chris was very friendly and helpful and worked with me to get this new amp. I ordered the amp over the phone on Monday and it arrived to me in Kotzebue on Wednesday. Couldn’t be happier.
