I got a gel extension manicure and a gel pedicure here about 2 weeks ago, and not only are they gorgeous, but they've completely held up in quality. They did a wonderful job on the design I asked for and were pleasant and nice to be around. I loved Sunny and Stormy too. I hadn't yet found great quality manicures in Alaska, but now that I know about Hollywood Nails, I will be back whenever I'm in Anchorage.

As someone who isn't a nail girly, I appreciated the education and welcoming experience offered at this salon. I went in for acrylic sets and soak offs to let my nails take a break, and am happy to continue coming for future sets. Nails were sturdy for weeks. The only thing I've noticed is that my left thumb has consistently been ever so slightly crooked after shaping but it's being nitpicky at this point. I always get compliments on my nails from here and feel like it's worth the prices from what I've seen offered elsewhere.
