We contracted with Avalanche to replace our roof damaged by the wind storms of December 2025. While there were delays in starting the project we expected as much with the extent of damage to homes in the Valley. Once the project began, rain delays slowed the rate of completion. The old roof was removed in a break in the rain and dried in before the next rain event. The crew made every effort to ensure complete coverage working late into the evening. We lost shingles in the wind storms. Avalanche Construction answered their phone, gave us an estimate of when they would be out, and sent a crew when they said they would. The wind was dying down, but it was still too windy for them to work safely on the roof. They reassured us with a report on the extent of the damage, which wasn't as bad as we thought. Zak and Cole were promptly back on our roof the next day when it was safe. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were friendly, thorough, and answered all our questions.
