I made an appointment with an audiologist for a hearing test, as I am in my 60's and my wife said I needed it. It took me several weeks to get the appointment. The audiologist was friendly and appeared competent. I had no issues with my tests or the hearing aids I bought. After they had my money, however, it has become impossible to get any follow up care or service. After a time, the battery on one of the hearing aids failed. I called for an appointment. They told me they were too busy to see me and to just drop off the hearing aid for her to look at. The hearing aids were still under warranty. I dropped off the hearing aid and they went silent. After a month, I called back, and they sounded like they never heard of me. After a considerable wait, they reluctantly admitted they had my aid ready. I tried to set an appointment to pick it up and make sure it was OK, but they told me it would be 4 months or longer to get an appointment. They said to just drop in and pick it up. I dropped in and picked the aid up. When I got it home, I found they had given me a replacement aid. The aid would not pair with my other one and would not connect to my phone app (a feature that was instrumental in my selection of that model aid). I called them back and told them about the problem. They told me to drop off the aid again. I refused and said I wanted to verify the aid worked correctly when they were done with it. They gave me an appointment 4 months in the future. I was not pleased. Nonetheless, I showed up for the appointment. They spent 90 minutes trying to pair the aid with my app and finally succeeded. By this time I was late for another appointment and didn't have time to get the aid calibrated. I limped along with the unbalanced aids for a few months until I could no longer stand it. I called them again and asked for an appointment to fix the sound of the right hearing aid. I was told to drop them off. I refused and said I must be present to verify that they had indeed calibrated them to match. They told me they had no appointments available for 4+ months. That's when I decided to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Alaska state medical board, and Yelp.

They never call back even when I am waiting for significantly important info. Weird attitude, irresponsible and different personnel.

I was referred to this practice by my oral surgeon in Anchorage, AK. Nice staff at ACENT. I had a nice consultation with Dr Schaffer and he answered all my questions and dealt with my concerns. We discussed a near future outpatient surgery. I enjoyed meeting Dr Schaffer. Lisa Palermo did an excellent job working within my travel schedule to book my surgery and post-op visits.

the MD was weird and 30+ minutes late to our 1000 appointment. overall frustrating experience and unsatisfied with the provider. It was for a simple procedure but he was more interested in talking about how he handles office appointments. No good rating for Dr. Andrews.

I can't thank this place enough! I have suffered from sinus infections for years! Always told by ent that nothing was wrong with my nose and it was just allergies. That was until I met Dr. Schaffer and well he did not just say it was allergies and looked it over and studied my nose. He found the problem and sadly because so many passed me over surgery was the only option. So I had the surgery and now I breathe better and a lot less infections! Thank you so much for not passing me over!

ACENT's Doctors and staff are courteous, professional, and warm. Having a complex medical issue is very hard, at times. This being said, I have always felt heard, understood, and important to the staff and doctors at ACENT. They are the perfect mix of extreme professionalism and personal . I feel like they love their jobs, where they work, and are genuine about helping people. I've never had a long waiting time and they have always been understanding about circumstances that cause tardiness or rescheduling. If I could see Dr. Fraser for all of my medical needs I would. Take care and rest easy that you are in good hands at ACENT

Just about the worst experience I have had with any gatekeepers, administrative staff and office in general. I was referred to an outside office for a procedure they couldn’t perform and now I can’t get a question answered or a phone call returned. Washed their hands of me and erected barriers to future care. Truly awful experience.

I called last week about making an appointment/hearing aid help (I know nothing about them and I wanted to make an informed decision). When my call was returned I was told I already had that appointment. I did NOT have that appointment! She argued with me and then demanded that I make an uninformed decision on which kind of hearing aid I wanted. EXTREMELY pushy, bullish and RUDE. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone! Customer service is lousy!

So thankful for Dr. Schaffer and his team. Dustin the scheduler has been wonderful to work with and helped me immensely with some issues that came up. Dr. Schaffer is truly a kind and very smart doctor that I am so thankful for. I can finally after 30 years breath clearer. Dr. Kokesh also helped with taking the splints out and was very helpful with that process and super great to work with as well. Thank you!!
