About Angela's Pet Spa

Angela's Pet Spa is a well-known business that specializes in professional and caring pet grooming services. The staff takes a gentle approach, making it a comfortable experience even for anxious animals. Prices are reasonable, and pets leave the spa looking beautiful. The spa is a great choice for pet owners seeking a stress-free and pleasant experience for their furry friends. However, some recent reviews have raised concerns about safety and customer service. One customer reported an incident where the owner's dog attacked their puppy in the parking lot, and the owner did not attempt to recall the dog or show any remorse. Another customer described a similar situation where the owner's dog charged at their puppy, and the owner remained silent and did not check on the wellbeing of the customers or their pet. Despite these concerns, the spa has also received positive feedback, with one customer praising the excellent job they did in grooming their dog and making the experience less stressful. Another customer expressed their satisfaction with the owner's work and the amazing results for their pet.

Caution taking your animals to this shop… or even walking your pets in this area. Angela let her retriever loose in the shop's parking lot where it attacked my 3 month old puppy. She did not attempt to recall her dog, nor did she come get her dog while it was attacking. She offered no apology and showed no compassion or remorse. My girlfriend was pottying our puppy in the strip of grass between Angela's Pet Spa and the Aurora Plaza. Angela, standing with an employee (possibly her daughter?) opened the door to her vehicle and a golden retriever exited the van off-leash. As soon as it saw my puppy it charged toward her barking and snarling. Angela remained silent standing next to her vehicle while her dog flew into my girlfriend and our puppy. My girlfriend was forced to kick the retriever to prevent it from grabbing our puppy. After it was kicked, the retriever ran back to Angela and the other Pet Spa employee (still next to her car). Angela promptly took the dog inside her shop without a word. My girlfriend remained outside for several minutes trying to calm our puppy down after the incident. At no point to Angela or another staff member to come to check if they were injured or okay. By-law was informed of this incident.
