I feel this is a corrupt organization that serves to protect its own instead of the public. I have recordings and documents that I believe clearly show the College of Alberta Psychologists making false statements and not following the law.
To set 200 CAD per hour as a standard fee is an abomination and shame, especially considering growing number of people struggling with mental health after COVID pandemic. Many of them are retired, unable to afford a fee so high.
At a time when albertans are struggling they raise there rates 20 percent ……. Not so much about helping the people out there . 200 a hr is outrageous there are lots of educated fields who don’t charge near as much for a higher level or education . Insurance doesn’t cover the fees anymore
