Dr. Merkley has been my veterinarian, for every single animal I own dogs and cats. My animals like him he’s good and kind as well. He’s also kind to me and it’s easy to have a conversation with him and he makes you understand what you need to know, about his diagnosis and meds. I find him to be knowledgable in every situation I bring my animals in for. I can’t even tell you how long we’ve been using him as my vet veterinarian. Thank you, Dr. Merkley.

Over and over Dr. Merkley has shown me that his love for animals is the reason why he is vet.
He goes the distance and stays beyond the time that he’s supposed to - he will fit in any emergency, no matter how small or large it may feel to us.
I moved 4 hours away, I inquired at all the vet clinics near me but not a single one could compare to foothills or doctor Merkley- so we make the 4-5 hour drive. It’s worth it.

I also really like all of the other employees. The techs are great! I love the front desk clerk! Everyone there makes it feel like you are family.

I just want to say how grateful I am for this vet clinic. We love our dogs so much, but we live in Calgary and cannot afford the same level of care within Calgary’s city limits. Foothills Veterinary clinic has repeatedly given us the opportunity to provide affordable healthcare to our beloved furry companions and we are so thankful. Regardless of whether or not you can afford the Calgary’s inflated vet costs, I recommend Foothills Veterinary clinic.
Also, my kids wanted me to type that they are also grateful for the care and attention you have provided. They would be so devastated if anything ever happened to the doggos.
