Great team welcoming and will spend time to explain. But this area is very expensive and getting very crowded which is damaging the quality of living and affecting the vibe. Not at all affordbale for students sadly. Investment wise prices of condos are not going up as the area is super saturated and there is no limit to the expansion. Only one playground and pedestrian walking space is shrinking. Constructions is going all year long and trucks being parked with all parking spaces taken. Some condo buildings have no ventilation or AC system.
The university district is a little plain. I just thought the area would be a bit more 'forward thinking' since it's owned by the university after all. For example, there are no bike lanes on the main street (neither dedicated lanes or painted ones). It is nice to have a bit more urban feel as opposed to strip malls and big box stores and parking lots though.
Well worth checking out with so much variety of homes to view. A completely unique development to Calgary and especially NW. A lot to take in...and all well constructed luxuriously. Everyone at Discovery Center was super friendly with all the information and more!
