I spent many months and hours checking out different businesses to reupholster my 2 wing back chairs. I kept coming back to Simmering. I liked that they had been in business a long time and the photo gallery provided great examples of the work they do. They did not disappoint. I am so happy with the service and the help I received through the whole process.
I called Jess who set up an appointment with me right away. I appreciated how Jess helped me go through fabrics and pick my color based on my pictures of the rooms the chairs would be in. Very knowledgeable about different fabrics and showed me a variety of fabrics in different price points.
A 50-year old love seat restored. This is the third time over its life it has been reupholstered. The picture, second from the left is before and the first from the left is the after. The love seat fabric was fraying so it was time to give it new life. Simmering followed the same upholstery design but used a more durable and attractive fabric.
The second project was for a couch we bought just over a year ago. The design of the couch is first-class, but the stuffing in the seat and back cushions was poorly done. Our great experience at Simmering began with Jess's help in choosing fabrics for our chairs. She seemed to get a good sense of our taste and helped in finding beautiful options. The pick-up and delivery team were on time and friendly, and that service was appreciated. The workmanship on our chairs (and little accent stool) is fabulous! It was a pleasure to work with the Simmering team.
