With all the rain we had this year in July water came into the basement of my property and soaked the carpet.

I called a ton of companies to ask about someone looking at it and helping me come up with solutions. One company tried to diagnose over the phone whiteout sending someone to have a look, one wanted to charge me $50K because they were telling me that the water was coming in through the cold joint, and the rest either didn’t reply or wanted to book the inspection months later.
