Len was very responsive to our requests and made great suggestions to enhance the pieces ever further. We also loved looking at all the other finished pieces he had on site for inspiration, and perusing through all of the beautiful pieces of wood he had on hand to pick the perfect ones. He knew his inventory so well that he was able to suggest several specific pieces of wood that were perfect for our project, and described how he would sand and stain them to enhance the finished product.. Len did a fantastic job on our modern mid-century stools. He is passionate, professional, prompt, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He took us on a little tour at the back of his shop and it was delightful. We will only take our wood furniture to him from now on. Thank you, Len!

Working with the team at Refined Rustic Furniture was a great experience. They helped me select the appropriate wood for my floating mantle. They described in detail how they would remove blemishes, fill cracks and make it appear like there was never a blemish in the wood to begin with.
Once the mantle shelf was filled and sanded smooth, I was invited back to confirm which stain I wanted from a number of colours. Once decided, Linda finished the mantle shelf.
They did everything for me, once I provided the dimensions I needed, and the template where the metal supports were to be placed. All I had to do was slide it into place... read full review
