I recently purchased a landcruiser and needed an out of province done. The shop was super easy to work with and very willing to answer all of my questions I had before I brought it in about the inspection. Brought it in, super timely manner they completed the inspection and had very competitive pricing. Highly recommend bringing a vehicle here for your out of province especially if it’s an import. I read a two star review for this company from someone who clearly has no understanding of Alberta requirements that are available on the government of Alberta website and no comprehension of what day time running lights are. Would recommend People ignore that review

Great team at Pro-Active. I've brought my almost 30yr old yota a few times since I first bought it in the summer. I would consider myself at the very least knowledgeable and experienced enough to work on my own vehicle. But I dont have the space, equipment or time. Time is money. Ive taken my yota for multiple TLC things, with the exception of being a victim of having my cat stolen during the holidays. But with every job, part, and service, I either have a good idea or do my research on what I need done and the cost. I’ve used Pro-Active many times over the last three years on my 95 FJ80. They’ve done all of the maintenance, suspension upgrades etc. Recently they installed the rear bumper and it turned out great! I highly recommend Pro-Active automotive for general mechanic and off road outfitting.
