I worked with Ross Kaplan and his office on my claim. Communication was always regular and clear. It was my first interaction with a lawyer and I'm very pleased with both the process, and the outcome.
Used them for what was supposed to be a straight forward separation agreement. I felt the opposing counsel dictated the terms of the agreement and my counsel simply followed suit with hardly any push back. Often communication to them would go unanswered and I would need to follow up constantly. In some instances I was doing the research work my counsel was supposed to be doing. I'd recommend people go elsewhere for a family lawyer.
Three years ago, I made the decision to work with McLeod Law—specifically, Shane King. I was pretty nervous at first; I’d never needed a lawyer before, but an unexpected departure from my job led me to seek some professional help.
Shane was incredibly thorough, walking me through the pros and cons of taking legal action, while still being confident that we could reach a positive outcome.
Fast forward to today: the file is officially closed, and both parties can finally move forward.
It was definitely a long road with plenty of highs and lows, but not once did I doubt that Shane had my best interests at heart.... read full review
