One customer appreciated their help in redoing a cabinet side board, matching the stain color exactly and ensuring a perfect fit. Another customer was thrilled with the solid Acacia breakfast bar they made for a kitchen renovation, describing it as the "absolute perfect piece" to complete the project. Lora and George also designed an ensuite bathroom vanity for another customer, helping them accomplish their "wishlist" and providing a pleasant experience throughout the entire process. My husband was recommended this company to refinish the mahogany box for my Dad’s ashes after it was damaged moving. Not only did they do an exceptional job but they made considerations given the circumstances to work out a special arrangement with him that far exceeded our expectations. The work was done while we were away and when we returned to Calgary the box was refinished and actually looks better than when I originally purchased it from the funeral home.
My dad ashes can now sit next to my mom’s ashes after many years apart thanks to this lovely family owned business. Highly recommend!
Shane and Porter from Knotty Woodwork were amazing! They helped me move the piled-up millwork in my new apartment’s loading area so I could use it without any issues when moving into my new place. They even taught me how to use the overhead door and service elevator. Both of them were super friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Highly recommend Knotty Woodwork!
