I went in to have two pants tailored.Ramona the shopkeep fitted them to me after trying them on and her advice was very knowledgeable as to fabric quality, style of the clothing pieces and fit for my body type. She also encouraged me not to do a certain alteration as it would result in a very high cost for me with only limited improvements. Giovanni was present in the back and gave advice when it was needed once.She also gave me a heads up as to a lengthy processing time as they had a family gathering ahead. Giovanni is a lovely gentleman who has made beautiful suits for my son and husband over the last seven years. We were looking for a tailor on par with the Italian tailors we frequented in Montreal and were very happy to find Giovanni!Services: Design

I was checking on Yelp to see if Giovanni is still up and running, and I was shocked to see the negative ratings. So I decided to post this review. I initially found Giovanni by searching the internet, and came across some articles telling the story of his old-school business and training. He is at least the 3rd generation of tailors in the Milanese tradition, trained in the old ways in the Old Country, now with decades of experience and a seasoned eye for his work.
