I always schedule last minute due to a crazy schedule, and I think I’ve gotten my nails done by every one there - always impeccably done and incredible value!The other day I got a Brazilian wax at Esme for the first time - it was by far THE BEST and least painful experience, ever. Jo jo was super fast, super efficient and somehow magically made the experience way less painful. It was a massive improvement on all my previous experiences. Thanks Esme team, you ladies all do an amazing job!

I go to Esme regularly for manicures, and when planning our wedding, thought I would contact Angela about bridal flowers. Knowing nothing about flowers, I told her what my colour preferences were, described the general vibe of our wedding, and left it to her. I usually never feel the need to write a review and I hope this is taken seriously. This was my first time ever spray tanning. I expected to be treated better then I was. I got negative vibes from the lady doing my tanning. I had to repeat three times that it was my first time and she didn’t seem to understand that. It was raining the day I went and she told me I should re schedule and I said that seems best and then I was told I would have to pay a fee for changing the appointment which is insane considering I was unaware of that. It’s not my fault it was raining . ALSO I wrote in the notes that it was my first time when I made the appointment. I should have received a call explaining the raining situation.

The only place I go now for waxing. JoJo is always so friendly and so professional. She is super knowledgeable about what works best for different skin types and always has tips on how to make your experience better. Their receptionists are always helpful and accommodating. Great service all around.

I went to the Ramsay location and it was the BEST experience I have ever had! Not only did I learn how nails should be done but the girls were incredible! It felt like chatting with girlfriends I had known for years and it was so warm and welcoming! I won't ever go anywhere else after my experience here! The atmosphere was so cute, delicious popcorn, comfy chairs and so many amazing colours to choose from! In house made scrubs and lotions - you name it they have it covered! Love love love - thanks so much Christa!!!! xoxoxox

I usually do not write reviews but my experience was not as good as I was expecting. The initial experience was good but once I sat down in the chair it went downhill. I had nail polish left over on my nails and it took the technician under 10 minutes to take off. When I have gone to other nail salons I have never had to pay for removing nail polish but at Esme I had to pay $10 for it. I don't really feel that nail polish removal should be $10. After the polish was removed she asked me to pay right away but was quite rude in asking. On the website it said that a manicure came with a nail soak that I did not receive as well. I'm all about supporting small businesses but after this experience I will not be supporting them again.

So beyond disappointed with the professionalism of this establishment. The very first time I walked in to Esme I felt unwelcome. Everybody stares at you as you walk in. I got not a single smile, staff look at you as if you're lost, they don't greet you and make you feel welcome at all. I got a manicure with a gel overlay and my nails were completely destroyed. I figured because I had been having such a hard time finding a place for nails I would give it another shot with another nail tech. My second visit I had the same greeting, very unwelcoming. However my gel fill was so much better, she acknowledged the horrible job done previously and I really saw a change in the quality of work, so I was impressed to rebook with her. I rebooked to have another gel manicure two weeks ahead with the same girl, but when I got my confirmation a couple of days prior the name of the nail tech was changed. I was 100 percent confident that I did not make the mistake of booking with someone else so I decided to call and see what happened. When I called they acknowledged they changed the nail tech on me. They did not call and ask if it was ok, they didn't not call to ask if I could rebook. They went ahead and changed my service at their own will.
