Our experience with Eastside Kia turned what was honestly one of the most stressful automotive situations we’ve ever been through into something positive—and even joyful. We came to Eastside Kia after a catastrophic engine failure on a previous vehicle and were in desperate need of reliable transportation. From the very beginning, the service was excellent. We purchased a vehicle from them and were extremely happy with the experience—I even gave them five stars on Google. Unfortunately, just five days later, my wife hit a deer and the vehicle was written off. To make matters worse, the special insurance we had purchased for situations like this failed to pay out as expected. At that point, things felt pretty overwhelming. This is where Eastside Kia truly went above and beyond. They stepped in, helped us immediately, and made it right. They found us another vehicle right away—essentially brand new—with an extended warranty, and they actively assisted us in dealing with the insurance issues rather than leaving us on our own. On top of that, because I was a former Saskatchewan driver, the insurance quotes on the new vehicle were coming in at nearly $5,000 per year, despite having 30+ years of driving experience and no convictions. When we were close to walking away entirely, Eastside Kia said plainly that this was ridiculous and took the initiative to connect us with another insurance broker. That broker secured coverage at less than 70% of what everyone else was quoting us. As if that wasn’t enough, they personally delivered our vehicle to us at 5:00 p.m., even though we live over an hour and a half away from the dealership—and they did this right before Christmas. I have genuinely never experienced service like this. They were honest, forthright, compassionate, and proactive at every step. They turned a nightmare into something we are truly grateful for. If you’re looking for a dealership that treats people like people and actually stands behind their word, I can’t recommend Eastside Kia highly enough.
