I picked Brilliant Best Friends for a specific reason. Courtney and Nadia are the only ones in town that are providing real “gentle grooming”. My reactive dog is always relaxed and happy there, even though there are other dogs around him. Brilliant Best Friends is affordable, friendly and always a welcoming place!

We have a 12 year old nervous rescue dog that had been becoming increasingly anxious with nail trims, and people touching her paws in general. We were referred to try Brilliant Best Friends from our local groomer and the first appointment was a huge success. Her back paws were trimmed in the first appointment thanks to a talented, patient, and caring team of staff that stuffed our dog full of treats :) and worked to make the nail trim a positive experience. They also have dog training programs specifically for helping with our situation. We have our next appointment booked, and I am looking forward to it.

I recently brought my rescue pup, Nicholas hes nine months, in for a puppy groom at BBF. As expected, he was quite nervous, but he's definitely a friendly guy at heart. The BBF team kept me updated throughout and let me know he was feeling a little scared. Instead of pushing him, they generously offered to let him stay the day—free of charge—so he could get used to the team and other dogs.
We tried again the next day, and while Nicholas was a bit more comfortable, he was still growling. Once again, the team suggested I come pick him up and didn’t charge me for the day. They kindly recommended their puppy grooming program as a more gentle introduction.
I really appreciate their active communication, patience, and the way they treated my pup like one of their own. Nicholas will definitely be signing up for their puppy & groom program—we're lucky to have found such a thoughtful and compassionate team!

I booked in for an assessment with an in home consultation. session back in December. It took almost a month to get the assessment back after several emails and phone calls. That should have been my clue I bought three in home sessions. Several times they were cancelled or the trainer was late. I actually only had two sessions The last one I was told there was car trouble ,yet again and then was told that because I don’t live in the ‘inner city’ area that it’s not convenient for the trainer No where does it say that client needs to live inner city for this service. They knew the address when I booked They offered two days at their facility or a refund for the last session. Which I took and they said they would give me some trainers closer to where I live. Still haven’t heard I live in the NE area of Calgary. Not the boonies I would not recommend this company for private trainer It certainly wasn’t the service I thought I would be getting

The staff were friendly, efficient and thorough. Our dog's coat had mats and knots all over. Now it looks, smells and feels amazing. Great Job. 100% satisfied.

I recently brought my dog, who can be quite difficult to groom, to Brilliant Best Friends and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience! My dog has always been anxious during grooming, but the groomers here were incredibly patient and gentle. They truly have a way with animals and provide exceptional service. We'll definitely be returning!
